Winters provides both residential and commercial applications:

- Class 1 - residential/light commercial
While snow accumulation covers the entire driveway surface, melting takes place underneath. When the snow stops, the rest of the accumulation is melted. A typical design is 9 to 12 inches o.c. Entran spacing with a load of 75 to 125 BTU per square foot.

- Class 2 - heavy commercial
Allows snow to accumulate on half of the surface during storms, while melting takes place underneath. The remainder of accumulation melts after snowfall ends. A typical design might be 8 to 9 inches o.c. Entran spacing with a load of 125 to 175 BTU per square foot.
